What Cap Slitting Folding Machines Do
After injection moulding, the tamper-evident band of a cap has to be slit and its tabs folded inward so it breaks cleanly when the bottle is first opened. The LONGSN anti-theft ring slitting and folding machine runs 10,000 to 12,000 caps per hour on a 30 × 20 mm cap for cap diameters from 15 mm to 60 mm; the 2-in-1 machine combines slitting and folding in one frame at 80 to 120 caps per minute.
Cap diameter and ring design are customised to the cap sample the customer sends.

How Cap Slitting and Folding Works
After injection moulding, the tamper-evident band has to be slit and its tabs folded inward.
Two operations on the band
Slit the ring
The machine cuts the tamper-evident ring on the plastic cap.
Fold the tabs
The tabs of the slit band are folded inward.
Break cleanly
The band then breaks cleanly when the bottle is first opened.
